I'm back for now.

As you know (if you read in the past) I love to blog and talk about Jcrew as long as my life permits it.  Family has come first the last couple months with travel and fun things so I haven't taken the time to post. I always miss it but try to make sure blogging doesn't take away from my family priorities.  With all of our travel settling I wanted to catch up and say hello and express how much I have missed the Jcrew world.

Let's be honest though, I was still around!

So with that, I have to start with a BIG THANK YOU!  Your feed back on the cocktail dress was sooooo helpful.

Our trip to New York City was great.  It was the first time in 5 years that my husband and I have gone on a trip without kids.

Overall I loved New York.  It was fun to visit and there was always something to do and see.  What I loved most of all was that the Subway allows you to see the whole island in a matter of days. Yes, my husband and I found that we work as hard at play as we do with work and by the end we had walked an amazing amount but it was all worth it.  I wanted to see it all and I feel like I saw a lot.   I don't anticipate going back, I feel like I experienced what I wanted, but it was a pleasure.

So what dress did I wear to the big event?  I went with a dress that would work for this event and then also church or other functions in my day to day life.

I dressed this up with velvet black pumps, multiple strings of pearls, red lips, and a clutch.  I found that bankers are fashion challenged (generalizing) and so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all.  I would call that a success, and even more because I didn't spend a lot on it.

Now, I didn't stop my travels in New York.  I proceeded to  Portland and Salt Lake so I do have some fitting room reviews to share and they are next!

  2. I love casual style dress for women and this makes them looks more quite and complex! And I believe when they wear in White Pointed Toe Stilettos can be good to view them from cwmalls.com!
